The Border Proud Campaign
To whom it may concern:
One of America's best kept secrets are communities along the international borders. Border communities hold untapped potential that can only be unraveled through entrepreneurship, investments, and the pursuit of aspirations. In an effort to promote the positive image of border communities like El Paso, Texas, to emphasize the opportunities they yield, and to give the youth social self-confidence to their locale, the students at UTEP's Regional Economic Development Association (REDA) is launching the BorderProud campaign. The BorderProud campaign aims to epitomize locally driven accomplishments and progress without the unwarranted influences of national rhetoric.
To promote the BorderProud campaign, REDA is redirecting the purpose of current activities and sponsoring new activities into the BorderProud series. These activities include:
